THURSDAY QUOTE
A quick quote while the house is still quiet..........
“Once we lose sight of God, we begin to be reckless. We cast off certain restraints from activities we know are wrong. We set prayer aside as well and cease having God’s vision in the little things of life. We simply begin to act on our own initiative. If we are eating only out of our own hand, and doing things solely on our own initiative without expecting God to come in, we are on a downward path. We have lost the vision. Is our attitude today an attitude that flows from our vision of God? Are we expecting God to do greater things than He has ever done before? Is there a freshness and vitality in our spiritual outlook?” Oswald Chambers

great quote!
Goes with what our pastor has been preaching on the last few Sundays. Very true!
I love this quote!! Very true.
That quote is MUCH appreciated!
A great quote ... and so true, Susan! I love quotes ... so much can be said in just a few short words, that can touch the depths of your spirit and soul to motivate and encourage us to a deeper walk with Him! I do want my attitude to be one that, daily, 'flows from my vision of God'!
I'm so glad you came by ... you've been on my heart and in my prayers! I haven't been over here in awhile, so I was catching up ... I love the dolphin blowing bubbles ... how neat to watch that! I do pray things are going well there. We know that God is able to do abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think in all of our circumstances! You enjoy your evening, and have a blessed Friday, my friend!
Hugs,

You are most welcome my friends
@Threads_of_Faith - thanks so much...mom might go home on Saturday...I kinda hope....is that wrong...NO....LOL
Now this is a great post. Scary, too , when you think about how easily we become distracted and really do lose our focus. I suppose this is why our daily devotions are so important. A carnal mind is God's enemy, humm? We can't always hear Him, let alone actually listen to Him when we do start "eating out of our own hands." Great post!
A~
Oh for a constant focus! I lose track so quickly. I'm thankful that He loves me despite my zillion faults. D
so true! reckless is how I feel lately.....thanks for your prayers and I am still praying for all of you. Susie
I saw your 'footprints' on my site and thought I'd stop by to say HELLO!
I hope you find time to stop by again soon.
I loved your post. It is right along the theme of what the Lord has been showing me lately. Thank you!
