  • If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight.
If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy.
If a child lives with shame, he learns to feel guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence.
If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.
If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he learns to find love in the world!

  • Hello Ms. Susan,
You made your site simple yet elegant. The pictures are a nice touch. I see that you have a wide variety of interests and observations here!
I like to write articles about God and religion on my site to help people to really get to know God, especially in these troubled times. 13 " 'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones and torrents of rain will fall with destructive fury. (Ezekiel 13:13) (NIV)

  • Cute picture girl!
And those were so true. I found that I looked at them remembering my childhood.
It does do my heart good to know that even though there were a few things done wrong when I was growing up....God has turned them for my good. That gives me hope for all the times I mess up with my kids.
He is still holding them safe.

  • Oh I love that...and that photo is adorable! Love the background here.

ryc: Thanks I enjoy decorating my site...and I am so hoping for another loss this week, it's a very hard thing for me to lose weight it has been a struggle all of my adult life thus far. I was always thin growing up and never thought I would ever have to battle my weight. But here I am. I am making a life change doing exercising as I hate to exercise. But, I know at my age it is a must so I just have to get it set in my mind and do it...so I still struggle but it will be worth it in the long run.

    Have a blessed evening....Linda
